This category allows all the ICT/Senior or specialist worker visa holders to be accompanied by their family members, namely partner and children, in the UK until the validity of their stay. Eligible family members include the partner (spouse/civil partner/unmarried partner) or dependent child of someone applying for a Senior or Specialist worker visa or already living in the UK under this category.

The former would be applicable in cases where there is a caseworking error and the latter must only be filed once the refusal reasons have been addressed adequately.

Yes, children can apply as dependants even if the spouse is not applying as a dependant. In order for child dependants to apply without the other parent accompanying them, you must prove sole parental responsibility or provide evidence of shared parental responsibility.

It costs the same as what your sponsor paid on their application. It depends upon the length of the visa applied for and whether you are applying inside or outside the UK. The cost for less than 3 years, will be £719 when applying outside the UK, and £827 for applications within the UK. Whereas, for applications where the sponsor is granted a visa for more than 3 years, the application fees are £1,420 for overseas applications and £1,636 for in-country applications.

You will also be required to pay £1,035 as Immigration Health Surcharge for each year. Additional fees may also be levied if you opt for priority processing services.

Standard processing times are 3 weeks for an application made outside the UK and 8 weeks for in-country ones. You must pay an additional fee if you wish to get a decision sooner.

Yes, you can extend your Skilled Worker dependant visa so long as your sponsor extends their visa or switches to another eligible route.

The Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) option is not available through the ICT route. Your sponsor must switch to a different visa route for your time to qualify towards an ILR.

In any event where your spouse switches to a visa route that leads to settlement, you may need to apply for a dependant visa under their new route. Alternatively, you can remain on your current visa until it expires but may not be eligible for ILR.
