A UK Skilled Worker Dependant visa costs the same as that of your sponsor’s application. It depends upon the length of the visa applied for and whether you are applying inside or outside the UK. The cost for less than 3 years, will be £719 when applying outside the UK, and £827 for applications within the UK. Whereas, for applications where the sponsor is granted a visa for more than 3 years, the application fees are £1,420 for overseas applications and £1,636 for in-country applications.
You will also be required to pay £1,035 as Immigration Health Surcharge for each year. Additional fees may also be levied if you opt for priority processing services.

What is the processing time for skilled worker dependant visa?

Standard processing times are 3 weeks for an application made outside the UK and 8 weeks for in-country ones.

Can I extend skilled worker dependant visa?

Yes, you can extend your Skilled Worker dependant visa so long as your sponsor extends their visa or switches to another eligible route.

When can I apply for ILR as skilled worker dependant?

You must reside in the UK for a continuous period of 5 years to qualify for an Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR). You must also meet the other conditions set out for an ILR applicant.

My spouse is applying for ILR, what will happen to my skilled worker dependant visa?

You can continue to remain on a UK Skilled Worker dependant visa until you qualify for ILR yourself.
